Brekeke Releases New Version of Brekeke SIP Server
San Mateo, CA, July 12, 2012 -Brekeke Software, developer of SIP telephony software for enterprises and service providers, today announced the release of Brekeke SIP Server v3, the latest version of the most trusted SIP servers on the market. New Brekeke SIP Server v3 features include: IPv6 support, which allows deployment of the SIP server with IPv6, or a combination of IPv4 and IPv6; TLS support, which provides the ability to create a secure SIP communication system. Brekeke SIP Server v3 offers a number of other improvements from its v2 predecessor, including enhanced product performance and a cleaner administrative product interface, while providing a smooth upgrade transition.
"We have introduced several exciting new features in Brekeke SIP Server v3. For me, the most notable addition is the TLS support. The demand for securer SIP services has been growing rapidly and we wanted to respond to this need by providing another way to secure our users' SIP communications. By combining TLS and improved Dial Plan settings, providers can now tremendously improve the security of their SIP services," said Shinichi Mitsumata, Brekeke's CTO. "From the debut of the Brekeke SIP Server, we have always ensured the delivery of the latest technology to our users. Though it is not yet widely used, we believe the need for IPv6 will only grow in coming years, which is why we wanted to introduce IPv6 support to our users right away so that our products will be ready whenever they want to move to an IPv6 environment."
Brekeke SIP Server v3 is available in two editions: Standard and Advanced. The Standard Edition provides the basic features of SIP server, while the Advanced Edition is designed for high-performance requirements and features that are needed for providing such SIP services as TLS support, failover, Radius support, administrative alert notification and much more.
