Multi-location SIP Telephony System over Internet VPN

A large preparatory school in Japan has multiple locations and wants to set up a telephony system over the internet VPN (virtual private network). The following information gives details of how the elements are set up to achieve their communication goals. Click the image to view the details of the telephony system.

  • Located at the head office, Brekeke SIP Server is running on the Red Hat Linux Operating System.
  • VPN routers, with PSTN Gateway functions, are placed at the head office, as well as at each school.
  • A VPN tunnel is established between the head office and every school.
  • Each PSTN Gateway (VPN router) is registered with the Brekeke SIP Server.
